Barnet

A one-bedroom duplex apartment in Barnet, North London, comprehensively renovated to create a calm and highly considered home. The reconfigured interior makes careful use of the available space, improving circulation and introducing discreet storage while maintaining a sense of openness throughout.

A restrained palette of warm timber, softly veined stone and refined metalwork brings depth and tactility to the apartment. Bespoke joinery is integrated throughout, concealing practical storage and allowing the architecture, furniture and material details to take focus.

Layered lighting creates subtle shifts in atmosphere from day to evening, while artwork, textiles and carefully selected furniture introduce personality without overwhelming the simplicity of the scheme. The apartment feels quietly refined and purposeful, with every element considered around the rhythms of everyday living.
