A 1,650 sq ft three-bedroom duplex penthouse in Vauxhall, London, transformed from a new-build apartment into a colourful and highly individual home. Taking cues from the building’s Manhattan loft-style architecture, the studio introduced warmth, personality and a more expressive material language throughout.

Industrial references are softened through a playful use of colour, pattern and texture. Untreated woods, brushed metals and worn leathers sit alongside bolder furnishings and geometric forms, creating contrast between the architecture and the more characterful layers of the interior.

Each space has its own identity while remaining connected to the wider scheme. Furniture, lighting, artwork and accessories bring a sense of personality and informality to the apartment, creating a home designed as much for entertaining as for everyday life.
